Refund policy.

You can try every look on your own song for free before you pay. If you buy and change your mind, this is how you get your money back.

14 days to change your mind

Within 14 days of any payment, you get it back in full, without giving a reason, as long as you haven't exported a release from it. This applies to a Single, to the first payment of a plan, to each renewal and to extra releases you buy on top.

Previews don't count: you can open the editor and see your song in every look as often as you like without losing this right.

After an export

When you export a release, our servers render your video files, and you can download and publish them. The release you paid for has then been delivered. Before the export starts, we ask you to agree to that and to confirm that you know your right of withdrawal ends for the purchase it comes from.

After an export we don't refund that payment, except where the law gives you a right to it or something went wrong on our side (see section 4 below). The 30 days of free fixes stay yours: you can change words and timing and export the release again at no extra cost.

Subscriptions and cancelling

You can cancel the Artist or Label plan at any time, in Settings under Plan and billing, or by writing to us. Cancelling stops the next payment; your plan runs until the end of the period you've paid for, and you can use its releases until then.

A renewal you didn't mean to make is covered by the 14 days above: if you haven't exported anything since it, you get it back.

When something goes wrong on our side

If a render fails, the files don't match what your plan includes, or you were charged twice or by mistake, we put it right: we fix the files or refund the payment, whether or not you've exported, and also after the 14 days.

Your statutory rights

If you're a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. For digital content, it ends early once delivery has begun with your agreement, which for Lyrictake is the export. Our 14 days above follow the same line, without any form or reasons.

Your statutory rights in case of defects (§§ 327 ff. BGB) apply in full and aren't limited by this policy. Our terms have the details, and Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase itself.

How to ask for a refund

Write to help@lyrictake.com from the email address of your account, with the order number from your receipt if you have it. We read every message ourselves and usually answer within two working days. You can also go to Paddle directly, with the link in your receipt or at paddle.net.

Paddle sells our plans as merchant of record, so the money goes back through Paddle, to the payment method you used. Depending on your bank, it can take up to ten working days to arrive.
